Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Clinician

 Description 

 The Therapeutic Supervised Visitation Clinician (TSVC) is tasked with helping parents who have had their children removed from their custody by the

State of Florida re-establish a healthy, safe and maltreatment free relationship with their children using proprietary therapeutic constructs developed at PBHI. 

         Most parents are Court ordered to this program.  The hours of TSV vary but are generally during the week anywhere from 9 a.m.- 7 p.m. 

Pending transportation for the children, in some cases, it may be possible to schedule visitation on the weekends. TSV occurs with parents anywhere from

            1 hour a week for 6 hours a week.  Most supervision sessions are 90 - 120 minutes. Because this is a flexible position, you are able to supervise as

                                 many cases as you would like. TSVC's are expected to remain with their assigned family until the family completes the TSV program.

TSVC's are expected to attend a weekly staffing with the Administrative staff in order to go over the case progress with the administrative team.


Qualifications

Education:Candidate must have a Master's Degree in a clinical counseling field.

             (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field) 

Licensure: Candidate must be either a registered intern or be fully licensed.

Skills: Strong knowledge of chronic mental illness

On-site Pediatric Mental Health Therapist

 Description 

The pediatric mental health counselor is tasked with helping children who have difficulties with behaviors, mental health issues or trauma. 

Counseling is done at the home.  Childen can be as young at one. The therapist is able to specify the age group that they are comforatble with.

. The ideal candidate has training in trauma-informed care, knowledge of chronic mental illness in children and has a flexiable thought process. 


The hours of the therapy sessions vary, but most children are seen once a week for up to 45 min.

Therapy sesesion times are decided with the family and the counselor. 


Qualifications

Education:Candidate must have a Master's Degree in a clinical counseling field.

Licensure: Candidate must be either a registered intern or be fully licensed.

Adolescent Mental Health Counselor

Location: Belleview, Florida 

Type of Setting: On-Site

 Description 

The adolescent mental health counselor is tasked with helping teen girls/pregnant teen girls who have been taken into foster care process grief,

trauma and loss in an onsite, group home setting. Most of the children seen in this setting are between 13 and 18 years old, have had complex interpersonal
trauma and may be pregnant. The ideal candidate has training in trauma-informed care, knowledge of chronic mental illness in children and is familiar with the laws
and rules associated with the foster care system. 


The hours of the therapy sessions vary, but most children are seen twice a week for up to 2.5 hours a week.

The sessions are during the week, anywhere from 9 a.m.- 7 p.m.
