Today we are going to talk about consciousness. Consciousness is described as our awareness of our environment. There are stages of consciousness that people go through. The most common two stages are being alert and being asleep. There is also stages of daydreaming, disassociation, meditation and altered mental status. There are many things that effect our stages of consciousness.
